Chikaodili Stanley Okoli –Chief Operations Officer (Executive Director)
Chikaodili S. Okoli holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Management from Middlesex University, London (1993). He later proceeded to the University College London (UCL) between 1993 and 1994 and obtained an MSc degree in Ergonomics, Human Factors/Human-Computer Interaction (HF/HCI).With a work history of over 10 years, Chikaodili has had various professional and extra-disciplinary experiences gathered at Chase Manhattan, UK; Royal Bank of Scotland Plc (Waterhouse Sq. London), Rothschilds Asset Management, and also at Morgan Stanley (Regulatory Controllers) where he developed the swaps database (SYBASE/Access/VBA environment), working in various capacities in treasury services, capital market operations, risk management.
He returned to Nigeria in 1999 and took up a job with Magnum Trust Bank (now Sterling Bank Plc) where he implemented the Value-Card system for the bank. He later moved on to Standard Chartered Bank Ltd in 2001 where he had a Business Development role. In 2003, he was appointed to work as Corporate Planning and Logistics Manager at WABECO. He was recently made a member of the board.
Lanre Adedapo Adediran, B. Sc, MBA, FCA. – Chief Finance Officer (Executive Director)
Adediran is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) having qualified in May 1991. He holds a Second Class (Upper) degree in Accounting from University of Lagos, Akoka (1988).His previous work experiences were in Volkswagen of Nigeria as a Financial Analyst, Mobil Oil Nig Plc as an Internal Auditor and Michelin Nigeria Ltd as a Treasurer. Mr. Adediran joined WABECO from Michelin in May 1999 as a Finance Controller. He has contributed immensely to the growth of the company and was appointed a Director of the company’s subsidiary-Benin Petroleum Services in 2009.
Adediran has attended various developmental courses both locally and internationally. He is noted for his, tenacity and detailed approach to business. He was recently made a member of the board.
Ejiroghene Otobo – Chief Legal Officer (Executive Director)
Miss Otobo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Exeter, Devon (2000) and a Diploma in the Legal Practice Course (LPC) from The College of Law, Guildford, Surrey, UK. Miss Otobo returned to Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in July, 2003.
She previously worked at The Law Union and at Libra Law Office under the revered Mrs. Hairat Balogun, the first Lady Attorney General of Lagos State. She is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch.
Miss Otobo joined Wabeco in March 2006 and is the In-house Legal Adviser and also handles the Company’s corporate affairs including Human Resources and Administrative issues. Miss Otobo has also attended some local developmental courses including the Training and Development Function at the Lagos Business School (LBS) in 2011.
Miss Otobo was recently made a member of the Board.
Okoli, Ikechukwu (I.K.) – (Head of Marketing)
Ikechukwu Okoli graduated in 1999 from City University London with a BSc degree in Business Computing System, and worked thereafter in the City of London as an IT Analyst specializing in Investment Banking systems. He worked for Deutsche Bank London for almost 5 years as a Senior Analyst, and then obtained a Masters in Shipping Trade and Finance at CASS Business School in London in 2004.
In 2005, he started work as a consultant to Safecon Petroleum Sierra Leone Ltd, a major fully integrated downstream oil company based in Freetown. In 2006 Ikechukwu returned home to Lagos to accept the role of Business Development Manager for WABECO. In 2009, Ikechukwu was appointed to the Board of Safecon Petroleum Sierra Leone Ltd and was made the Marketing Director. Ikechukwu was recently appointed as Head of Marketing forWABECO where he has since been responsible for sales, corporate planning, business development and I.T.
Chike Ezeilo– (Head of Operations)
Chike Ezeilo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Economics from the University of Benin in 2000 and shortly after joined Wabeco Petroleum Ltd as the Records and Supplies Officer in 2001. He thereafter joined the Business Development team as a Sales Executive managing key client accounts in the construction industry. In 2005 he obtained a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in International Trade from The Robert Gordon University Aberdeen, United Kingdom and upon return to Nigeria took on the role of Managing Director of Coles Transport Ltd a shipping company and owner of MT Wabecotanker an 8,300 DWT oil tanker.
In 2011, he was appointed the Head of Operations in Wabeco Petroleum Ltd a position he has occupied till date to oversee oil tanker management & chartering, business development, logistics, co-ordination of operations, weekly / monthly market survey & analysis of products and client relations. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics & Transport (CMILT) and has attended various training courses including ‘Oil Market Fundamentals’ in Nairobi, Kenya conducted by CITAC Africa LLP.
